AUDIO/VISUAL/LIGHTING TEAM
PURPOSE
To make sure that anything being communicated during the service is done clearly, audibly, and visually to the best of our abilities.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
To be responsible for the setup, coordination, and use of the church's audio, visual, and lighting technology used during the worship service.
AVERAGE AMOUNT OF TIME
Depending on the level of skill, 4-6 hours per week which includes Sunday mornings.
BENEVOLENCE TEAM
PURPOSE
To minister to bereaved families through serving them a meal at the church either before or after the funeral service.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
The team calls church members for all the sides and desserts as the main dish is provided by the church and funeral home. We usually need help setting up tables. We make tea and coffee, cut up desserts and prepare for the meal to be served. We vacuum the FLC, take home the tablecloths and dish towels to wash and leave the kitchen clean.

4-5 hours on the day of a funeral
CONNECT GROUPS
PURPOSE
To follow the New Testament guidelines set forth in Acts 2:42. Connect Groups offer the opportunity to study God's Word, community, encouragement, and growth.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
A person that joins a Connect Group should commit to attend, and support the group on a weekly basis. Also, to be open for God's Word through study and discussion, to strive for growth in serving God, and serve as an encouragement to all Connect Group members.

CHURCH DESIGN TEAM
PURPOSE
To keep the church decorated for different times of the year.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
Meeting in November to discuss decorating for the church family meal, tree decorating, and sometimes a parade float. Come in the weekend after Thanksgiving and help put up the tree and decorate the sanctuary.
AVERAGE AMOUNT OF TIME
1/2 hour per month, 2-4 during holiday time
CHURCH SAFETY TEAM
PURPOSE
To help ensure the safety of all ages while they are at Trinity.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
This will include monitoring the surveillance cameras, parking lot, and exterior doors during services and events. This team of people are not security, rather a group of people to oversee any potential risks and to notify public authorities as needed.

1-2 hours a week
FACILITY MAINTENANCE TEAM
PURPOSE
This is a group of people to be accessed by our Building and Grounds Breakout Team as needed when any maintenance, repairs, or improvements are needed.

Action items are on an as needed basis and are relevant to the skill set that in needed.

FIRST SUNDAY LUNCH TEAM
PURPOSE
To create an opportunity for the church family to come together for a meal following the Sunday service. We want people to be able to meet each other and fellowship while providing a meal for them.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
Find people that would be willing to provide a lunch for each month of the year. Also, on the day of First Sunday Lunch, make sure that tables and chairs are setup as well as assist the people serving lunch in anyway needed.

HOSPITALITY TEAM
PURPOSE
To welcome and greet each person that enters Trinity whether it is by greeting at the doors, guest desk, or greeting the people who are seated prior to the worship service. We want to make sure that we "see" people and care about them.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
What takes place in the first ten minutes when a first-time guest arrives at our church can determine whether or not they will return. We need to be in position early and stay late. We need to PRAY about our encounters with people, SMILE and be genuine and not distracted. INTRODUCE yourself and WELCOME guests. Know where all the classes are, take them to a class and introduce them to someone there.

KIDS MINISTRY
PURPOSE
To teach our children infant through 5th Grade the Gospel as well as equip parents to teach their children in the knowledge and truth of Christ.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
Either teach, help in a kid's class, nursery worker, music decorate, pray, prepare and serve food, lead games, etc...Possibilities are endless.
AVERAGE AMOUNT OF TIME
Anywhere from 1/2-3 hours a week
KITCHEN TEAM
PURPOSE
To be part of a group that takes care of the church kitchen as well as help plan, decorate, serve, and clean up for various church dinners. As well as make Sure supplies are noted and ordered, keep the pantry clean and in order, keep fridges/freezers/cabinets clear of outdated foods, and keep linens washed and put away.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
Keep in touch with the Kitchen Team for what is needed, regularly check in and ensure the kitchen is orderly and old food is cleaned out.
AVERAGE AMOUNT OF TIME
Depends on church calendar, no set timeframe
MEN'S WILD GAME DINNER
PURPOSE
To create an experience of Biblical fellowship through the connection of good food and the outdoors.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
Coordinate the details of the annual wild-game dinner including the meat, cooks, guest speaker, setup, takedown, and clean up.
AVERAGE AMOUNT OF TIME
The supper takes place in February each year and will require time for preparation as needed. Time needed to set up will increase during February and the weekend of the event.

PRAYER TEAM
PURPOSE
Intentional prayer and intercession for the needs of the people in our families, church, community, and world.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
This group receives a prayer list via email every Tuesday. The prayer team does not meet in person but commits to praying at 9 a.m. in a place that is most convenient for the individual. We believe in the power of prayer amongst the unity of believers knowing that God has and will continue to lead our time of intersession together.
AVERAGE AMOUNT OF TIME
1 hour a week
SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY TEAM
PURPOSE
To love on seniors and provide opportunities for building relationships.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
Senior adults meet on a monthly basis, the last Thursday of the month, for a fellowship lunch and game such as bingo, bunco, etc. Other senior adult events are planned for the purpose of the development of one's faith and connection with one another.

STUDENT MINISTRY
PURPOSE
To guide students and their families to seek God's direction for their lives and to look for God working in the world around them. We want to equip them to share the love of God and the Gospel with the family and friends they are in relationship with each day.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
Get to know the students, what they are interested in, their extracurricular activities, what they are involved in. We spend a lot of our time just talking with the students and hanging out with them. We also facilitate small group discussions and talk through issues they may be having. We walk with them through what they are experiencing and how to seek God in it.
AVERAGE AMOUNT OF TIME

TABLES & CHAIRS TEAM
PURPOSE
To help prepare the tables and chairs in the Family Life Center for Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
Coordinate with those in charge of the Sunday morning overflow room and Wednesday night student leaders to have the tables and chairs setup ahead of time. Team also helps with other setups as needed.
AVERAGE AMOUNT OF TIME
1-2 hours a week
VISITATION TEAM
PURPOSE
To contact visitors that come to our church as well as members to offer information on our church, encouragement, and prayer as needed.

Drive out as a team to visit and pray with people.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY TEAM
PURPOSE
Women ministering to women, through fellowship and getting to know the needs of the other women around us.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
Help, pray, brainstorm, organize, host, and/or participate in the women's events.
AVERAGE AMOUNT OF TIME
One planning meeting at the first of the year. Monthly events meet on the second Sunday evening of the month.
WORSHIP TEAM
PURPOSE
We were ALL created to worship God and is something we will do for eternity. The purpose of this ministry is to use the gifts/talents that God gave us to lead the congregation into worship.
EVENT/ACTION ITEMS
You would be put into a Sunday morning worship team rotation based on availability. The music is sent out Wednesday and is your responsibility to be familiar with the songs by Sunday. Practice is held every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. for those that are scheduled.
